Post Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Really looking forward to this season. I've never fancied my chances of winning the league until now. I really put a lot of time and effort into this season after coming 5th last season with little effort. I believe I've found a live gold cup contender in Alarica who I think is better than Eric Kelly my former Gold Cup winner. Soviet Star may well be the star of my team. He will run in races from 2 mile to 2 mile 5. Very versatile horse with a great turn of foot. Most likely the target will be the Ryanair Chase and the Melling Chase. Had the 2nd and 3rd in the Grand National last season, hoping to go one better with Fifty Shades of Grey, a big strapping grey horse. I've got 2 or 3 good breeding lines. Anything out of Black Caviar a 7 furlong sprinter has surprisingly been a great 2 mile - 3 mile national horse. Another Caviar maybe the best of the progeny and will run over 2 mile 4 over hurdles with the target being the David Nicholson Hurdle. Annamaria is a tough front running 2 mile chaser who loves soft ground. Will probably be my main Champion Chase contender. Castaway and Flushing Meadows are my best 3 mile hurdlers and both will be aimed at the top 3 mile hurdle races. Deportivo is my only returning horse, everything I ran last season couldn't make this seasons squad bar deportivo which says how strong my team is this season. No Space will be my main champion hurdle contender and Spaceship will be my main bumper horse. Of the novices, Force Hero, Strong Force and Castafiore Diamonds should all win races. Overall, I've got a great team of horses and hoping to put up a challenge to last seasons top trainer leon.

It's a novice chase you can enter your Novice Chaser i have only uploaded 1 3m novice chaser. you can run that in it i think some trainers will upload a 3mplus novice chaser that actually stays 4miles but will struggle to win over 3miles 2f.

Thanks

That's ok then because I entered brief gale as a novice and she's a 3 and a half miler who's quick enough for 3 miles and can stay 4 miles ok. Lovely.

I'm quite excited about some of my horses, but I don't want to say too much before they run. They are head and shoulders above my horses from last season so fingers crossed! I have 20 for the NH and 7 for the flat. Looking forward to it, good luck!

I'm nervous but also excited , but as this is my first time having a real go I have no idea what my horses are.

I'm sure there will be plenty of tears and joy.

Hopefully the jockey doesn't leave my gold cup horse way out the back like last season so I can spoil your plans :)
