Re: My Best Ck Times
Ran a couple of your horses you uploaded PJ against what I have so far. I'm somewhat encouraged. I mouse click out of scrolling field screen then hit escape. The result of race shows after a few yards of the race has been run. This is how I always trial. Ascot Good Smoking Julia - 5 Furlongs Hasseyenda Granobile

Mark wrote: I have not read much of this but the gist seems to be times are affected by video settings. There is a theoretical chance that this could happen if the settings affect the frame rate causing it to drop significantly below 60 during the race but the settings would not affect races as long as the frame rate is at 60. All it means is that any league races would have to be run on a machine capable of running races at the recommended min of 60fps.
It does not mean that horses exported from a machine with a low frame rate would have any advantage or disadvantage over other horses. OMG that's me out of the league then - I'm struggling to get 30fps.

Re: My Best Ck Times
Just got back into trialing after about 4 or 5 weeks off and notice the CK times are over a second slower than before at most distances guess you have to go with consistency not times as the times are all over the shop there can be as much as 3 secs difference in trial times which makes trialing more difficult than ever IMO The Graphics are brilliant but for trialing purposes are a real pain as trials now take alot longer to go through now from what i have seen on here the faster machine you have the faster ck times you get for me trialing has become more tedious than ever

I'm enjoying my jumpers because I've got plenty of front runners( I've dragged them along with my breeding) so my horses blast of and see's who can last the longest.

Re: My Best Ck Times
Good thing that's how I've always selected my league horses. Keep a spreadsheet listing each distance and keep the top 5 most consistent performers. Using a points system I widdle my large group down with a first series of trials to the top performers for each distance and then run 6 trials for the finals at each distance. I add up the points in these races - 5 first/4 second/3 third/2 fourth/ 1 fifth. After these races the horses that hit the CK afterwards run against the best I have.
The big pain is selecting these horses every time from the large pool I have collected. I have suggested before the best thing to have IMO is an option to save race field on the race build screen. The current option to save a group in the horse files screen does not cut it because you can't save a horse to multiple groups. Unless this has changed because I haven't trialed in a while.

Agree with you there i dont even use the filter or save system pointless have one horse in one group it totally defeats the purpose we need folder were we can physically put horses into like you would on desktop with ability to name folder eg jumpers but the ability to have one horse in as many folders as you want

Re: My Best Ck Times
Any thoughts from you guys on the head lads comment when you export? I go to the training screen and hover over the far right button which says "Click to view more training data for this horse". Hover over it repeatedly and if your horse is race fit it will either say "The horse is fit and ready to race" or "The horse is raring to go!". I always make sure it says raring to go when I export because that sounds better. Not sure at all if it makes any difference. Anyone out there know if it does?

Re: My Best Ck Times
Move your pointer over the far right box of each horse repeatedly and the head lad comment will switch back and forth between the two comments.
