Re: Flat discussion
Right, What's the situtation behind the jockey bookings in the 8.15 Sandown.
Buick rides Emirated Skycargo for Charlie Appleby which is fine but cant get my head around the other two.
James Doyle is Saeed's jockey but he rides Secret Brief of Charlie Appleby's is Ijmally part owned by shiek hamdan just like Maftool so Paul Hanagan has to ride?
Thanks Peter.

Has no entries at all now hope he is ok They have New Bay in the Prix du Jockey Club. Full Mast is being aimed at the Prix Paul de Moussac (Group 3), the race Charm Spirit won last term, at Chantilly on Saturday week. If all goes well he will then be aimed at the Prix Jean Prat followed by the Prix Jacques le Marois.

I've been a racing fan since 1985 and it looks one of the poorest bunch of 3 yo's I can remember at this time in the year. Perhaps a few will improve but they look average at best. Didn't u hear Nick Luck say this was a good bunch of fillies before the race( what a clown) I'm not a fan, he's the coolmore of presenter's. Love's to hype things up, I bet he will say the same thing about the derby. I think it's one of the weakest derby field's I've seen, how can Golden Horn be the same price as Reference Point and Nashwan who had outstanding form going into the Derby.

I disagree with saying the Colts arent that good. I think Golden Horn could be very very good at 1m 2f - 1m 4f. Jack Hobbs is a good animal and will win a group 1 at 1m 4f. Giovanni Canaletto will win races aswell just hasnt had the right preparation. Elm Park wasnt given the best ride, Atzeni took far to long to relise to just take a lead and his race was over. The ground was probably quick enough for him aswell. Storm the Stars,Kilmanjaro and hans holbein are all Leger horse and will be stayers next year. I though Hans Holbein ran a stormer considering he went of far to quick and still battled on the finish 7th. If these horses were trained by Aiden, they would be superstars but because his under performed these are being downgraded. As regards to the Fillies. We havent seen of the top class ones of last year. Custory Glance hasnt seen a race course yet. We certaintly havent seen the best of Found, for some reason she isnt being stepped up in trip yet. Words beat qualify in his only race a maiden win so with expected progression she should be winning races but for some reason she hasnt ran yet. High Celebrity is another who hasnt ran yet who was quite good last year and Andre Fabre does brilliant with 3yo fillies. Think we have to give him abit for time. Finally does anyone know whats happened to Century? and Chemical Charge trained by Ralph Beckett i think Thanks Peter.

Re: Flat discussion
Golden Horn given BHA rating of 125 better than Sea The Stars which was 124.
Frankie also said he is as good a horse he has ever sitting on. Says alot.
