At least in the stallion brochure next year Coolmore can say that they were desperate to run Gleneagles in the Juddmonte International, but they just didn't want to risk him on ground he has already won on in the past.

The flat racing is a disgrace, I cant wait to proper racing starts next month. I hope it rains until November and we never see Gleneagles again. Just retire him and claim he's the best ever.

And I've said don't believe the hype about Golden Horn, not good enough to win on good ground. I'm sick and tired of the all the hype theses horses are getting, go out and prove it on the course. These trainer's and so called expert pundits talk out of their backside. It more about the hype these days than what they do on the course.

Yes a Good/Very Good horse at this moment but not the Greatest ever that people was putting him in.

When a horse retires then look back at what he did then u will have the whole picture, every good horse that comes along now get put in that bracket( there were good horses in the past) racing didn't just start to be good in the last 10 years.

Perhaps hype sells, but it doesn't impress me. I don't need people to tell me who's great.

The ground is very tacky and i have no doubt Gleneagles would have been beaten today too

Golden Horn and Gleneagles are 2 hugely commercial and valuable Sires prospects 1 was unbeaten 1 unbeaten at 3yo
they had far far more to loose than flintshire did.

And I think that Frankie & John Gosden's comments after the race confirm they think they made a mistake in running.

At the end of the Day Flat Racing is driven by Breeding and what a horse can make after racing there are rare occasions when racing
comes first as in Frankels case fair play to owners keeping him in training at 4 more should be made of that gesture but whether we
