Re: A few to watch out for
PURE SCIENCE (Galileo - Rebelline) - 4.05 Warwick
In terms of making a racecourse debut under NH rules they rarely come much better bred than this one, by Galileo out of G3, G2 and G1 Tattersalls gold cup winner Rebelline, also a half brother to G3 winner and G1 placed Recharge as well as other winners.
It'll be really interesting to see how Pure Science gets on today as Scorer (half brother to Roberto Goldback) and No No Mac aside, none of the others have much appeal on paper, the two mentioned probably looking for more of a test of stamina. What with Pure Science having such a classy, speedy pedigree, having no pesky obstacles to navigate and the fact that Twiston Davies does like to start some of his better youngsters at this track id give him a big shout here today.

Re: A few to watch out for
LEO LUNA (Galileo - Eva Luna) 1.15 Newbury
Extremely well bred gelding who was a twice raced 3yo colt on the flat for M Stoute. A half brother to St Leger winner Brian Boru, and a half brother to the excellent Sea Moon as well as other notable winners. Also the dam Eva Luna is the grand dam of none other than Derby and Arc winner Workforce, G1 Moyglare Sutd Stakes winner Kissable, as well as Supreme Novice Hurdle winner Cinders And Ashes.
Makes his NH debut in a strong contest with the likes of Chatterbox and the well regarded Lac Fontana in there, but considering his striking pedigree, low weight, and with the Moore team in such good shape, at 28/1 he makes a fair bit of ew appeal against the rest.

LEO LUNA (Galileo - Eva Luna) 1.50 Newbury
Im retaining faith in this one, there is definitely a win in him. He'll improve for the run last time and will for sure appreciate the better ground today. Oscan is the other interesting one breeding wise but may need the run.

Re: A few to watch out for
I put up Fantasy In Blue on the morning of her debut but that post was lost with the forum blackout last week... anyways! Fantasy In Blue 2Decent enought debut from Fantasy In Blue last week, very very green the whole way round when held up in rear by Ryan Moore. Id say she lost the race by having to come wide off the final bend but there was a lot to like about the way she finished the race when powering up the straight on the outside, she'll be winning before very long.... it could well be @ wolverhampton on thursday evening! http://www.attheraces.com/VideoConsole/ ... 04_06_1715

Re: A few to watch out for
Fort Knox represents the list today as he takes his chance in the 2000 Guineas trial @ leopardstown, he has changed stable over the winter, now with Tommy Carmody having previously been with R Hannon. I dont see this as a negative in any way as his new trainer proved himsef at the very top level last season and it could indeed be a shrewd move by connections what with the Hannon team having so many options as far as 3yo milers go. He is obviously very well thought of being pitched into this but as you all know the ballydoyle brigade are so hard to beat on days like these. But still there was a lot to like about his 2nd run last season and it'll be interesting to see if he can mix it up with this lot.
