Workforce closer than I thought he would be. Great race and Workforce will be a huge player in the Arc.

The Arc will suit So You Think better then workforce.... So You Think was still relaxed at the furlong, took 2 strides past that and was infront comfortablly.

yeh shorter than ideal and quicker ground than ideal - hence why SYT was favourite and fancied
on workforces terms he would of gotten beat

Well, those who doubted, stick that in your pipe and smoke it!! Glad he did that after all the "Aussie form means jack", it's not a superstar comments. Not going to get ahead of myself, didn't have a bet, not here to have a go lol! It panned out just as I said it would, Confront won't be able to go quick enough: Check, SYT travelled lovely in behind the leaders: Check, Unleashed at the 2 pole: Check! I think Workforce has done valiantly staying on that well after having to go to the front so early and give him a lot of credit but it happened as everyone thought it would be, would be an interesting match over 12f with more runners and could be close
I will take back my comment that workforce was a rogue and inconsistent, was a silly thing to say, very impressed by that run, especially after having to go in front on the bend, 99% of horses would have faultered and dropped away down the sandown hill, very game and just beaten by the better horse on the day, I will definetly be looking at Workforce for an Arc bet

Great race and SYT quickened up well, but WORKFORCES terms??? Have no idea how you got to that theory. Quicker ground than he wants and a distance shorter than perfect l thought under the circumstances Workforce ran a cracker

I agree with Rich, Workforce was a LOT closer than I expected him to be over 1m2f, especially as he had to do all the work from the turn. Very exciting race, two great horses, but what I'd take from that is that Workforce will be a lot better over 1m4f, and I fancy him for an Arc double a lot more now than I did before the race. Strictly speaking, the way that race went tactically and as it was a 1m2f race, I think So You Think should perhaps have won a bit more easily.

Without a pacemaker Workforce would have got beat 5 lengths.
So You Think got beat at Ascot because Frankie broke the rules, the best horse didn't win.
