Annie Power was never going to run in the world hurdle thus season. She was to be aimed at the Champion, even with Faugheen a runner. Rather two in that race than her waltzing to a Mares hurdle victory.

If she had an injury-free preparation then owner and trainer would have been happy to take on the boys in the champion. Unbeknown to me the Mares hurdle is now a Grade1! However it is still the easier option with injuries and lack of prep run. Having Glens Melody in the race makes no difference whatsoever to Annie running in this race. They have different owners and no trainer is going to tell Wylie, JP or Ricci he can't run in that race because a different owner wants to win it.

Chances of More of That making this race? If he does turn up, he wins for me. If not then it's wide open.

The closer we get to the festival the worse the vibes are getting for him running, he has a lot to prove even if he does run. They'll not just run him for AP. Nicky Henderson will have 3 or 4 in, so AP will pick up the 2nd string you'd think.

Better news this evening on More of That, fingers crossed he makes it, will give my ante post portfolio a boost!!

Intresting to see Sam-Twiston Davies has choosen Saphir Du Rheu over Zarkander which surely means they think he is first choice ahead of zarkander.

Thats assuming it will be soft, if ground is quick on the thursday he will ride Zarkandar.

the decs will be out tuesday so he'll have to make a choice, cant change there after unless it gets pulled out.
