Think its time for him to be retired, he just doesnt look right. He's had back problems and just looks like hes suffering everytime he's running. Doesnt look fair on the horse, he's finished well beaten against not a great bunch...

He even had his ground today and still couldn't get going. He's been the single most expensive horse I've followed since Grands Crus.

Think it would be wrong to even think about cheltenham. Them werent a great bunch today and he couldnt even get close, he found nothing off the bridle at all and couldnt even keep 3rd.

I've noticed that in recent years, the winner of the Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle usually suffers subsequently in its career. At Fishers Cross is a prime example, he looked a brilliant stayer in his novice career then won the AB at Cheltenham, but he hasn't run to a smidgen of that form ever since. The Albert Bartlett race in 2013 was a very attritional race on heavy ground and it's possible that the horse left his lifetime best there. Last year's winner Very Wood is also another example, he was a surprise winner and then won on his chasing debut, but has subsequently been pulled up on his next two starts.

Although there are some really good types to come out of the race, like Bobs Worth, Denman, O'Faolains Boy and others, but I'll treat the winner of this year's renewal with a degree of caution unless it looks like a world beater.

Agree with what's been said above, I just wonder why don't they perhaps think about a few of the staying races over the flat? Granted the horse needs a bit of cut in the ground but there are some decent staying races if the horse is struggling to jump.

About running on the flat, id be very surprised if he had the pace to run in the top races. He's looking slower and slower with each run. He just isnt finishing his races off. Couldn't even keep 3rd on saturday got passed late by 2 handicappers.
