Re: 10 to Follow
The CUP competition is here:
RULES:
The Draw:
There will be a preliminary round involving four players:
The winners of these matches will go through to the quarter final when the other six players will be put into the hat.
I will give each player a random number from 1-10 and ask Peter to pick four numbers.
The first two numbers chosen will play each other with the first number chosen being the home team for the first leg.
The next two will play each other, again with the first number chosen being the home team for the first leg.
Matches:
Matches will be 'home and away' - two leg affairs. With away goals counting double.
The preliminary round will begin on June 1st with the first match during the period June 1st - June 15th, the return leg will run from June 16th - June 30th.
The quarter final matches will be drawn on the night of June 30th.
These matches will again be two legged affairs starting on July 1st - July 15th and the return leg running from July 16th - July 30th.
Semi final matches will be drawn on July 31st and take place during August - two legs as before.
The Final will be a one off match and run for the whole of September.
Points:
A player will be deemed to have scored a goal when they reach 20pts in total for that time period. Extra goals will be scored for each 20pts accumulated.
If after two legs the players are equal (including away goals) the match will go into a penalty shoot out (the player with the highest overall points total will win). If teams are still equal the player with the highest number of wins will be the winner, if still locked then the highest number of seconds will determine the winner.
Match Updates:
In effect each day will consist of six minutes in a real time football match (15 x 6) = 90. For the two leg matches, and three minutes per day for the final. (3 x 30) = 90
Live scores will be put up each day.
Any questions please ask.
I have numbered the teams so ready when you are Peter.

Agree Peter lost a bit of respect for you with that comment if it was any horse i would say the same that was a distasteful comment They are beautiful creatures who sometimes dont reach our expectations JFK & Ol'Man River beat fair and square clearly not good enough & hugely disappointing that's racing

Re: 10 to Follow
Lets have a compromise and say they might end up on Blackpool Beach.
They both got great pedigree's so perhaps early retirement. Are they both bleeders because they run ok until a point then they stop like they are shot.

Re: 10 to Follow
It's a little early, I know, but I saw a post about having a 2-year-old horse in our teams after July and also a horse to select for "double points" at Royal Ascot.
So, can I choose AREEN (K. Ryan) as the 2-year-old to follow and also can I choose Supplicant as the Royal Ascot horse.
I'm not losing faith on Supplicant just yet, I do feel Supplicant will pop up in one of these big handicaps. He was classy as a juvenile but struggled last season which is common. Hopefully he'll have his day.
