No wont be doing one for the jumps. I knew Pricey does a good comp on a saturday and big meets.

Hi Peter,

Can I use up one of my three remaining substitutes.

Can I replace Mondialiste with Zaza Zest which runs in the 2.50 at Leicester tomorrow (Tuesday 13th).

Could you also make Zaza Zest my star horse.

Thanks

Steve

Good evening,

Due to work commitments and other things in life, I don't come here as often as I used to. I noticed that there is a Ten to Follow competition for the Jumps season. I would like to post my selections here for Pricey whose competition it is.

1) Tokyo Javilex (N. Hawke)
2) Theinval (N. Henderson)
3) Wakanda (Mrs S. Smith)
4) Triolo d'Alene (N. Henderson)
5) Viens Chercher (B. Ellison)
6) Puffin Billy (O. Sherwood)
7) Another Bill (N. Richards)
8) La Vaticane (D. Pipe)
9) Oceane (A. King)
10) Catching On (J. O'Neill)

Tokyo Javilex - Half brother to National winner Mon Mome and looks suited by a marathon trip. Taking advantage of much lower hurdles mark

Theinval - Bookended last season with wins and looked good when winning a good handicap at Aintree. Wind operation looks to have changed his fortune.

Wakanda - Improved form when stepped up to 3 miles during novice campaign. Well beaten in a Grade One at Aintree, but stayed on well at the finish. Could have a big handicap in him.

Triolo d'Alene - 2012 Hennessey winner and a bit of a forgotten horse. Off injured since January but always has the National as his aim.

Viens Chercher - Well bred and still unbeaten for his new yard in Britain. Showed good character to win last time in a duel.

Puffin Billy - Another horse to have slipped off the radar, mainly due to his high profile stablemate Many Clouds. Has done well since a heavy fall in December and finished the season off well. Keep an eye on him.

Another Bill - Unbeaten in two bumpers last season and highly thought of by his trainer. A dark horse for this season over hurdles.

La Vaticane - Won a decent amount of races in France before being bought by a high profile owner. 2nd on his only start over hurdles in Britain but could have some more improvement.

Oceane - Decent form in France on the flat before moving to his current yard. His trainer always does so well with this type and will be aimed at all the big races.

Catching On - Went straight into the notebook after winning the Devon National by 9 lengths on the bridle. A good fifth in the Scottish National. Suited by heavy ground and could have a similar race in him.

Ive been thinking about doing a jumps one but thought otherwise, ill be back doing one for the next flat season.

Im going to be doing a meydan comp.

Pricey does not do a ten to follow he picks races and you have to tip a horse in each race and you score points
based on how your tips do

Post subject:  Re: 10 to Follow

Sorry Hysteria my competition is not a 10 to follow. As has been said above its decided on different races right throughout the jumps season. Mainly on weekends but of course the big meets too. All you have to do is tip a horse for each race I put up. I hope you can join in; I really enjoyed it last season.

I will post a thread for new competition over the coming days just to answer any questions for new players.
