I really liked Many Clouds for the Grand National but considering how hard the Gold Cup was im slighty put off. Id think he'd be better off waiting next year.

Can we just use this thread for the whole meeting? I love all 3 days not just the Saturday.

As for the National I will be having a bet on Balthazar King if the going is good. Ran a cracker last year and Hobbs has kept him fresh for this.

Post Re: The Grand National 2015
it was a hard run gold cup
but many clouds was not abused when his chance had gone
looks a real national type of old many clouds but not in this new modern national
need a real thorough stayer judging on the last two years
my take on the race this year Balthazar king, gallant oscar godmejudge and rockey creek for me
Rockey creek is well in this year but did not seam to last it out last year hoping he can stay on a bit better this time

For me personally, I can't have Shutthefrontdoor. I feel there are some negatives over him and the value in his price is nothing. Yes, he'll be ridden by APand he's trained by Jonjo O'Neil, but he's only had six? career starts over fences, he's had a couple of setbacks and hasn't run for months and also he was beaten over 4m last season. I know he won the Irish National, but the winners of that race haven't done well at Aintree in the last ten years, certainly in the last few renewals.

Post Re: The Grand National 2015
Things I learned:
Many Clouds is a very tough horse.
Paul Moloney is a jockey to stay clear of next year.
The Druids Nephew was so unlucky.
Rebel Rebellion is the one for next year's Topham.
Royale Knight will be right there next season.

I hope Many Clouds bucks the trend and wins more races after the National, because he has made me a fan of him now. Super tough.
