Who is going to win the 2000 guineas ?
this years 2000 guineas is certainly giving me a headache try to find the winner with so many negatives and no clear cut form horse.

I have to be honest, I feel very underwhelmed by the twp early Classics. Territories probably has just about the best form on offer, twice beaten by Full Mast last year, and with a good run under his belt already I'll take him to win the 2,000 Guineas.

Sorry But Gleneagles has the best form beating both Full Mast and Territories but got thrown out. Dont see how Gleneages gets beat tbh.

You Are correct there mate about the form of Gleneagles Think the French horse is a big danger though and Ol'Man River has a chance too has worked well over past few weeks After last year you cant count anything out hannon's bound to have come on too. Im On Gleneagles @6s Ol'Man River @14s

Im On Gleneagles @6s Ol'Man River @14s i've backed Ivawood, Hannon says he'll improve 10 pounds after that Greenham. Also backed Moheet for the Derby so hope he runs an eyecatching race. I don't have any confidence in backing an O'Brien horse that hasn't had a run, especially after Due Diligence's run a couple of weeks ago and JFK

In a way, I want Gleneagles to win as it would set up nicely for when he has to rematch with Full Mast at either Royal Ascot or in the Prix Jacques Le Marois later on. Regarding the Guineas, be honest, whose horses do you trust right now: Fabre's or O'Brien's?

APOB 6 Guineas winners how many of them had a prep? ZERO always a slow starter and amazing every year how many are quick to write him off.

The fact remains, his horses are struggling for consistency at the minute, and although his two will be fit enough, they will need the run, as well as proving they have trained on, where as Andre Fabre is sending out winners left, right and centre at the moment and we know his colt is ready to go.

I've backed Estidkhaar at 25's for the 2000 and will probably back Ol' Man River tomorrow too.
Quite like the chance of Osaila in the 1000.

Anyone else agree with ryan moore about a possible draw bias? Only bring it up as the fancied runners are drawn high and low, hope not make it a mockery of a race I think

Re: Who is going to win the 2000 guineas ?
Dont think fitness will matter with gleneagles. O Brien will have him fully wound up, its the 2000 guineas. I dont believe for one minute he'll not have him fit.
Ill probably back Ivawood aswell E.W. Although i was dissapointed with his greenham run.
As for the 1000 i dont really have a clue, ive not really took much notice as i though Found would have won easy.

I'm just saying i think Race fitness makes a big difference, if none of the horses in the field had a run this season then i would probably go with Gleneagles on form, but theres not much between them. And therefore in this instance ive got to side with the horse that has had a run, Territories.
