I hear young Joseph is retiring from race riding in order to train NH horses primarily for J P McManus. Surprising news to say the least, although he has had well documented struggles with his riding weight. It will be interesting to see how this affects other trainers who have had McManus runners stabled in their yards of late, as you would assume that he would get the pick of the Irish trained runners at the very least. Good luck to the lad in his endeavours, although he seems a little young, I doubt he will lack for experience given his connections. |

He bought a Holy Roman Emperor at Goffs today for 70 k and has been registered as an owner |
