Absolutely gutted.... I think I may have lost my voice screaming Swipe down the stretch. Poor ride by Espinoza. But wow. Nyquist proved he is more than a sprinter.

California 2yo's are the best this year. Nyquist showing a nice rally.

I've got to admit I've seen all the east coast group races and they have looked average at best, but I don't believe any of these will win the Derby. It goes to show just because u unbeaten it doesn't mean u great.

I'm happy for Mario Gutierrez because he was the top jock at my course Hastings.

Nyquist surprised me. But Swipe was ultra impressive. Bad break and farther back than he likes to be. Lots of traffic. He was closing fast and his pedigree shows that he will be better as the races get longer.

I think he's comes out best in this race plus he's by Birdstone so he should stay further.

The multi-race payoffs in the turf show Big Blue Kitten, The Pizza Man, Red Rifle and Shining Copper being bet. Golden Horn is the solid favorite in the payoffs as he should be. Huge win money on Golden Horn and The Pizza Man. The Pizza Man's money is especially huge considering it's against Golden Horn's big money.

John Gosden is nervous about Golden Horn's run. But should be a romp. I think The Pizza Man is very game. Big Blue Kitten has a chance. But Ordak Dan at 99/1??? He has been prepping for this race for 2 years. I give him 45/1.

Past performances say Ordak Dan was gelded since last race too. You never know what the gelding will do. He may surprise.

My Bets in the Turf are slightly different based on odds. Don't like The Pizza Man at 5/1. Think he has a chance but odds are not what I like.

$5 Exacta, 1 over the 2,10,12
$5 Place/Show, Ordak Dan
$5 Double, 3,4,6,10,12 w 4

I love Euros coming over in 2 weeks or less. I didn't like Found's last race. Looked too taxing.

Ryan Moore knew this course very well. John Gosden even said to the NBC media that Ryan Moore knew this track.

History shows that O'Brien will win the Breeders Cup Turf in 2 years. He wins every other year.

But how much more does Ryan Moore have to pilot Gleneagles.
Aidan O'Brien is really impressed with how Gleneagles has been training on the dirt (well he should be).
With how hot Moore and O'Brien have been this weekend, I'm scared.

Coolmore now has 11 BC wins, one more than Godolphin.

Gutted for Golden Horn, just the conditions after a long hard season have contributed to him being beat.

Was it the ground or was it because horses were in front of him, whatever he's had a great season.

I just cant have Gleneagles even if he was to like the dirt, I just cant see him staying the distance.

Pick 6 will pay of 3 million if either Gleneagles or Effinex win (assume its the whole pool).

You've watched the races tonight, thats not good ground. The times back that up. His class got him so close. 2m 32 was the time. God i'd look to see him race next year but there's just no chance. A truly awesome horse. Found also ran on lasix, id love to see Aiden stand up with the english trainers and Andre Fabre and stand against it.
