Not a fan of that, it will be interesting to see how the horse runs next. Any jockey that hits a horse that many times in a race should get the book thrown at them, not a good look for the sport.

Whoever runs irish racing should be looking into this, yes there isnt any whip rule but thats excessive use and needs banning.

On another note why do all trainers complain about there not being enough races for horses and then there's a grade 1 novice hurdle at Newbury and there's three runners which is terrible. Trainers shouldn't twist if there not supporting a grade 1. Another race there complaining about is novice chases. A race at Catterick today a novice chase and 3 runners again.
