Why did you tip him then.

But I know what you mean he did look flat , but with good old hind sight it is easy to see these things. But the trainer must of thought he was fresh enough .

Because all the main contenders were in same boat I thought he might have more left in the tank than the others
but was surprised they ran him as Ted Walsh said some have the constitution for it but some dont.

Its too much to ask these stayers to run at all 3 festivals the horse had little to prove owners came for a pay day IMO
and they are entitled to we might all do the same in their boats

There was no need to run him after he made up for his fall at Cheltenham. On another note how bad did Aspen Colorado run he just looked like he was never going. All looked a bit to much for him, the hustle and bustle of the biggish field. Although i had the winner who I'm sure will be going close in the Albert Bartlett next festival as long as he get there.

A lot of top horses seem to be running flat after a busy spring. I'd certainly be looking to take on most of the horses who have run at both Cheltenham and Aintree before heading to Ireland. Interesting if Douvan suffers tomorrow but I suspect he's got the class to win even if he is a little flat.

I suppose a horse can seem fresh and well at home on the gallops, but until you go to the well once too often you never quite know.

I said it before he ever ran yesterday this would be a step too far
he is still babyish and still can mature into a top class hurdler that
was an incredibly hot bumper yesterday

Vroum Vroum Mag was very impressive but I can't help think My Tent Or Yours hasn't ran within 7pound of his Cheltenham run. Personally I think if he'd missed Aintree he'd have won there. Seemed flat.
