Hi, I'm back with this season's competition. The start date is set to be Saturday 5th November where Aintree and Wincanton have decent jumps fixtures. This season see's a tweak to the bonus point system to reward people who get bigger priced winners and placed horses. RULES: We will pick 1 horse for each feature race that I put up on the list below (more races will be included closer to the time). Try to submit Entries at least 30 minutes before each race. In the case of a late non-runner I will allow people to change their predictions, if anyone doesn't change their NR selection I will put you on the SP fav so at least you still have a chance to score points. In case of joint fav's then half points will be awarded. In case of a dead-heat all horses involved will receive maximum points as technically a winner has been tipped. POINTS: I will use standard bookmakers rules with points scoring so in races where there are 7 or less runners: 1st: 10 points 2nd: 6 points 8 - 15 runners: 1st: 10 points 2nd: 6 points 3rd: 4 points 16-19 runners: 1st: 10 points 2nd: 6 points 3rd: 4 points 4th: 2 points 20+ runners: 1st 10 points 2nd: 6 points 3rd: 4 points 4th: 2 points 5th: 1 point. BONUS POINTS: If you back a winner at 5/1 or bigger: 1 point 10/1 or bigger: 3 points 15/1 or bigger: 5 points Horses that are placed using standard bookmakers terms: 10/1 or bigger: 1 point 15/1 or bigger: 2 points All prices will be SP and I will use those prices from the racing post results (I believe they use William Hill).
