Heartbreak City - tricky race this as I have no doubt that Heartbreak City is theoretically an absolute certainty but with his trainer is he going to finish 10th in order to get an even better mark for the county hurdle!!

Right idea in principle, but that would be foolish in this case as already with a low mark of 125 he's going to struggle to get in the county. I believe the cut off last year was 128 and he could be dropped a pound or 2 after Sunday's 8th. Perhaps the only saving grace for them could be if the British handicapper ups him a few pounds which does happen to some of the Irish horses.

Will update table and post this weekends races tonight.

That's a very valid point. I think it is so ingrained in him that sometimes he just can't help himself. I remember him stupidly costing himself a serious chance in the Grand National with his shenanegins.

Yes I remember it, if they are still planning on a festival handicap raid with Heartbreak City they need to get him out again and he will probably have to win, or finish a close 2nd to get up to that 128-129 range and sneak in.
