Maybe you've heard of it? It's today. I've handicapped the bejeebus out of it for a week now and I've become more and more convinced it's a two horse race between Irish War Cry and Gunnevera. Irish War Cry ran an amazing race last out with Rajiv Maragh riding first time. I think he'll run that race again and will be hard to beat. I think Gunnevera will beat him. Rarely do you see Derby horses with such a perfect race progression before the derby. No issues on his Derby trail. Last race was a nice tightener for this. Not too hard and not too easy. Good to see an insight from over the pond. I am no expert on US racing form (nor UK some would say after tipping Al Wukair to beat Churchill). I had it between McCraken and Irish War Cry, slightly favouring the former. May do a forecast now after reading your views. |
