UPDATE Rekindling to be kept in training and after a weeks holiday will export back to Ireland and back
into the care of Joseph and will be aimed at the 2018 Ascot Gold Cup

It quickly made sense that Rekindling was in the Cup right up to his ears.

He will stay that trip no problem. He looked in this race like he could go an extra four furlongs.

Lloyd was asked by the Victorian Racing Club (VRC) to please explain comments he made after Hickmott stepped down.
No idea what happened between them but it appears Williams wants more say in how the horses are trained.
The VRC wanted to find out just how much control he will have and have told him if what he stated was true that he'd have to apply for a trainers license.
