I was watching race 6 at Gulfstream park today. The winner crossed the finish line and the camera then zoomed in to show the winner riding out afterwards. The jockey, Emisael Jaramillo, then started to make movements with his arm. Raising his arm towards his mouth and, if my eyes aren't deceiving me, it appears he puts something in his mouth. The object briefly pops out of his mouth before going back in. It has two points on it and kind of looks like Dracula fangs. What is that thing? Or am I just hallucinating? I made a video of the screen shots I took. I couldn't get a video of the race.

A lot of jump jockeys where them so that when they fall off and get kicked in the face they don't lose their front teeth! Quite seriously if you go into a weighing room and see jumps jockeys the majority of the older ones will have no front teeth.
