Here's a link to the 63 horses that may take on Winx in the Cox Plate.
A lot of Euro horses still in the ballot.

None of those European horses are G1 standard by UK/Irish standard, really. Winx should be mopping up again.

7 Ballydoyle residents heading down under

US Navy Flag & Somerset Maugham have already been quarantine for some time ready
for their planed trips to Australia but news broke this morning that they will be followed
by a further five Ballydoyle residents, led by dual Group 1 placegetter and 2017 Epsom
Derby runner-up Cliffs Of Moher, they have commenced quarantine in Ireland at the private
facility on the grounds of Ballydoyle they will all spend the next fortnight in their temporary
homes, before boarding a flight to Melbourne which is due to touch down on Saturday,
29 September.

Cliffs Of Moher will have company in the form of his stablemate Yucatan, who holds Caulfield
and Melbourne Cup entries, plus fellow Ballydoyle residents Fleet Review, Spirit of Valor and
Intelligence Cross, who will all target sprint races across the Spring Racing Carnival.

Excellent - I am looking forward to watching them run. The Spring Carnival is the best and most exciting racing :-)

Good to see Ballydoyle sending plenty of horses over to Australia but do they really expect to win races with this bunch. Fully expect Cliffs Of Moher to do well but don't have much faith in the others. Would love to hear your views?

Lloyd Williams confirms that he has purchased 50 per cent Cliffs Of Moher
and 100 per cent of stablemate Yucatan.

officially unconfirmed but highly likely that Idaho, Rostropovich, and The Pentagon are
now part owned or fully owned by Lloyd Williams & Family
