Re: Black Caviar
Fantastic stats mate and if she didn't blunder the start and tore muscles in her chest she would have won easily than that, a born champion.

Re: Black Caviar
The popularity of superstar racehorse Black Caviar has prompted the AFL to change the timing of a game.
Black Caviar's next race is in Adelaide on May 12, the same day the Adelaide Crows host Geelong.
The starting time for the AFL match has been brought forward 30 minutes, and the race of Black Caviar - who attracted a sell-out 30,000 crowd to Morphettville last Saturday - put back half an hour.
The alterations give AFL spectators an hour after their game to get to Black Caviar's race.
"We are excited to be able to have both codes working together to deliver two great sports to the South Australian public," South Australian Jockey Club chief executive Brenton Wilkinson said.

"To see Black Caviar run for her 21st consecutive win is a history-making moment and these changes will enable everyone the best opportunity to do so."
The Crows match will start at 12.45pm local time, with Black Caviar's race from 4.20pm.

On paper, there is nothing in either of the races at Royal Ascot that will even get close to Black Caviar. With Dream Ahead retired, and Deacon Blues missing the season through injury, it could be a very poor year for European sprinters.

I'm not always convinced by the quality of Autralian horses over longer distances (So You Think disappointed over here, while Manighar is finding things a lot easier in Australia than he did here), but their sprinters are definitely way ahead of ours. I suppose when you have the richest 2yo race in the world though, and it's a 6f race, there is more of a desire to breed sprinters.

Re: Black Caviar
Happy 21st Black Caviar. Easy as you like. If there is a gear lower than 1st she didn't get out of that. Nolan did not move.

Just loved the outfit big Nelly had on today before catching her flight. 32 hours later and she'll be at Newmarket. Also causing a small media swarm on her departure.

Re: Black Caviar
I hope she isn't getting excited thinking she will face a stiff challenge over here!!!
I wouldn't even offer anyone 1/4 on her and I'm treating my ante post bet at evens like its the Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka's factory

Re: Black Caviar
Breathzilla is the only one who has a chance, the faster they go the better he is and you don't often see a horse hacking all over an Abbaye winner on fast ground in a 5f race. It looks like he's going down the King Stand route. If he doesn't go it might as well be a walkover, I don't get it. Why not take her on?
