so you think will have them most influential season IMO i cant believe
frankel is A)not going to the irish guineas B)not going to the derby (which
is more understandable

both are superstars but so you think could enter and win any race from a
mile to 2 miles he could be the horse of a lifetime

who would win between the 2 over 1m2f just would like to hear what you think it would be some race would love to see it

Good poll mate, l have to say it's Frankel for me, not just the fact he has already done an unbelivable performance this season l just cant even have these 2 horses in the same sentence. So You Think has a great record abroad but we all know it might not mean nothing. No matter what any other horse does thsi season Frankel performance will be on par with what Sea The Stars did in Longchamp.

Im glad they didnt go the derby route but what a hell of a watch that would of made

looks like a poor derby which makes it even more surprising why the are not going for it

mate its just an opinion. Money dont mean nothing we can all remember Goldophins £5.3 million buy that turned into a donkey!!! Yes l admit So You Think form in Australia is very good but he has to show it here against good company. That G3 you talk about wasnt very good at all and he may well turn into a monster but for me he aint proved it against our best yet. In the scheme of it l would say Frankels performance far out did So You Think and l would say in my opinion Canford was up there too. Its a good poll mate but if people do post and have different views from yourself that doesnt mean they want a barny

Mate no I respect you opinion 100% and everyone’s wow I’m suprised that you took my reply as argumentative or some sort of outburst it certainly was not meant to be think just a misunderstanding its only mild banter and you are quiet right the form from his first race in Ireland should not be respected but the performance should be

In 2010 he won a g2 at 7f and ended the season finish an unlucky 3rd over 16f in the Melbourne cup he also won 4 group ones at different distances that in my opinion that is exceptional and I respect Australian form as much as uk form Australian racing is at a very high standard look at black caviar I think its really exciting that this horse has been brought over to Europe his trainer in Australia Bart Cummings was devastated to lose him because he knows how good he is

anyway can't wait to see him sunday at the curragh

Good topic.
Frankel potentially one of the best milers ever but thats based on 1 run in the guineas where he beat good horses with ease. Would like to see him up against canford cliffs and with the weight for age would have to side with Frankel as i dont think there would be too much in it, but later in life off level weights it would be even closer and would be tempted with canford cliffs but frankel as much as i think he is a monster as some way to go yet. And hes to prove he can run a ''normal'' race against topclass horses. Cause lets be rate if he did that against goldikova and canford cliffs he'd get picked up so gotta prove hes not a 1 trick pony.

So You Think i kept an eye on this horse from reading about it on RP website in australia he proved himself topclass whether he does it over here is another matter would love to see this animal taking on the likes of workfirce and canford cliffs if the latter stepped up which sounded possible listening to RH a few week ago. in a race against each other id favour the already proven So You Think but i think it would be a good race i cant wait to see how So You Think goes on sunday,

Either way 1m2f Canford Cliffs Frankel So You Think and Workforce. Could be best race this year. I wouldnt want to be pricing it up anyway lol

I Personally think So You Think can put anything away we have at 1m2f, Workforce is a rogue... Won a poor Derby but credit where credit is due for the Arc win, Just think SYT is a much more consistent and beastly animal, Frankel on the otherhand needs no introduction, Frankel vs SYT vs Workforce (Hannon won't take Canford over 1m I believe), Eclipse or International?? Bring it on!! Frankel should have gone Derby, would have cleaned house, that is a dire field and hope Gosden sends Nathaniel, I also think Frankel would have enough in the locker to see Canford Cliffs away as well, would run the turn of foot out of it. So You Think will win the Arc before going on to breeders cup/melbourne cup glory, you heard it here first! Don't think you can compare STY and Frankel, different ages, different trips!

Hannon has stated that he wants to take Canford Cliffs over further, so we shall see. It would certainly be a great clash, keep Frankel & Canford over a mile until August for the International and see which one of them all can keep on best over the long wide straight of the Knavesmire.

Its been noted that So You Think won a G2 at 7f before third in the Melborne Cup. I am aware the the Melborne Cup is essentially a dawdle before a 2f sprint, but I listen to many horses in Aus & South Africa that make seasonal reappearances over 6/7f before running in their proper targets later over 1m4f etc. For the experts out there, is it easy to equate (class wise) this form, as British trainers would never run in the 6f Duke Of York Stakes before sending their charge for the 1m4f Coronation Cup for example??

The one thing l would say is l would love to see Frankel V Canford, If it did happen l would hope Quelly does exactly what he did at newmarket. No point riding him any different and this would then surely mean Canford would have to be riden more handy and not sure if he could still quicken. Would be nice to see it and prove me wrong tho

Agreed, but still that's what happens when you have AOB horses steaming along at 100mph, didn't have that back in the day! Plus I was there and it was a scorcher and so was that week, that ground was stupidly quick and I contest that though, it was a poor derby what apart from Rewilding (Only Rewilding and Hot Prospect have won in UK and IRE since!!) has done anything since?? Probably just me hating on workforce as I never backed it in the Derby (because of it's rogueish performance in the dante) or the Arc (because of it's rogue performance in the King George). Fair play to the thing for winning a Derby and Arc, but it will never be in my books as "great" or anything near, just my opinion!
