Post Dubai world cup night
Does anyone have any horses they would like to see run well on world cup night? I would like to see prohibit or Monsieur joe run well in the al quoz, and I will also be interested to see how the two Peter snowden horses do, as they could be comparison markers for BC. I will also be interested to see how SYT does.

Be interesting to see how Red Duke does. He was underrated last season because of the trainer and would be near the top of the market for the Guineas if he was trained by Gosden, Stoute etc. Also Sepoy is way overpriced. Hes a class act and ran a cracking race last time with a tonne of weight on his back. I think hes better at 6 and doesnt have to take on as classy horses as he has done in Oz.
Final one im looking forward to watching is Beaten Up. He hacked up last time he was seen a good group 3 contest. Massive step up to Group 1 company but these are never the strongest of races and wouldnt be surprised if he hacks up.

The Snowden horses can't really be comparison markers for BC.

Helmet is a middle distance horse who is currently out of form.

Sepoy has never raced BC. However 2 starts ago Sepoy beat Foxwedge by 0.2 lengths, BC in her last start beat Foxwedge by 4 lengths.

Yes it will be interesting to see whether st Nicholas abbey has trained on at 5, I didn't know much about the Aussie horses but I had heard sepoy is quite a smart sprinter

You're right about Sepoy mate he is a very smart type. Won 10 from 12, 4xGr1, A$3.8m. Ran 5th last start in the Oakleigh Plate but carried 58kg and was only 1 length off the winner, ran a great race.

Helmet is a good horse but he is an absolute head case. 3xGr1 winner, better at 7/8f so don't like him at 1900m plus is in horrible form at the moment. If he can be calmed down though, 1900m through 2400m is possible.

Ha, I'm staying out of this race PJ. Don't like the factors of the ground he's never been on and Rocket Man could come out and do anything

Got A$14 on California Memory in the Dubai Duty Free 1800m. Has run 3rd past 2 starts behind Ambitious Dragon (the fav) but at 14's couldn't say no.

Like Smart Falcon at A$7 in the World Cup

As much as I would love Sepoy to win, I just can't see it beating Rocket Man, everyone knows how good and consistently good this horse is, only thing putting me off is the price.

I like your tip of Joy And Fun in the Al Quoz, good form coming out of Hong Kong. A small watch on Eagle Regiment who pipped Joy And Fun 2 starts ago by a nose over this trip, provides a bit of value at A$13
