Re: 1000 Guineas
Lightening Pearl & La Colina both currently trading at 24.0 & 32.0 respectively. Taken both win & place. I think the Irish will win the 1000 but not with who you think.

Re: 1000 Guineas
Been stuffed by Maybe though. I think Moonstone Magic will have a great chance. 2 runs this season, will be fit and travels on soft. Really think she's a great bet.

Re: 1000 Guineas
Yes if I was a betting man she would be my pick. I personally think 3 year old form can count for a lot and she has some, and soft ground form as well. Was very pleased when heard she was supplemented!

Moonstone Magic has certainly been impressive this season but couldn't fancy her for this. 1) She looks WAY too short at the current price (around 8/1). 2) Would be some feat to win 3 times in 3 weeks. 3) Don't be convinced that it will definitely be soft ground!! Come sunday it could well be Good to Soft. To me this one looks prime place lay material.

Re: 1000 Guineas
Let me tell you there is a lot of water around here at the moment, and she will have had 2 weeks between Dubai duty free and guineas, and 8/1 is a reasonable price considering how she has performed so far.

Re: 1000 Guineas
There is hardly any more rain forecast between now and Sunday. I think it will be Good to Soft at worst come Sunday afternoon.
