Guineas double for the team what a performance by homecoming queen simply stunning 33/1 yes

Guineas double, but not the one anyone saw coming! In my opinion a lot of the credit has to go to Moore he gave it a superb ride.

Looking at her soft ground performances it wasn't much of a surprise!.

2nd in the OHRacing league. A whopping 13000 places ahead of The Duke, who said this game wasn't luck?

Decided homecoming queen could make a smart 6f sprinter, quickened very nicely on Sunday off a decent pace.

Well, it appears Homecoming Queen might just be an average horse after all, scoring a freak win in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket helped greatly by a fantastic, 'take-them-by-surprise' ride by Ryan Moore. She looked nothing like a champion today.

Hm... I personally think the reason for the defeat of Homecoming Queen can be put down to the condition of the ground, which was pretty quick from what I can gather.

Gd>Firm: 3965414
Gd/Sft>Heavy: 12191

The form sole win on anything good or better actually came on ground which was riding Gd-Sft but in the interests of 'official' descriptions I shall include into the sample above.

Her form improves rather steeply for juice in the ground, and if you discount her run on 'yielding' ground as it was her comeback run, unlikely to be anywhere near wound up for the run (like many of O'Brien's fto) then it would improve to 1211.

I wouldn't be looking to write her off just yet, and she'll be an interesting proposition next time she is returned to softer ground (and very likely a big price after a few flops on faster ground likely).

Personally I think she and daddy long legs for that matter could make smart 6f sprinters, i think DLL should have won the guineas , if it was a 7f he would have, they say he's a front runner but I think they actually went off too fast with him, next time they should just hold him back slightly.
