Once again O Brien jr manages to lose a race he should have won by 5-6 lengths, unsurprisingly the winner was another of his dad's horses. This happens with their operation more than any other. If you coupled the horses (like France) punters wouldnt be as affected IMO.

Part of the reason is their version of a pacemaker is better than 99% of horses in training. This also shows that they run pacemakers on their merits as well.

But yes, it was a terrible ride from JOB and even worse from the experienced Murtagh.

Yeah Murtagh should have ignored SNA and rode his own race, you could see 3 out what the plan was. I never backed anything in the race so not my pocket talking, but this happens too often, especially with that stable

this was a classic case of knowing ur on the best horse in the race by far and just expecting the horse to win the race for you. O'Brien showed no jockeying skills in the race however i agree that Murtagh was a bigger disappointment given the experience he has, especially of the Ballydoyle pacemakers.

i agree and murtagh should have known better

thank god i was too hungover yesterday to bet might have lumped on SNA
