Camelot has to run, id already heard about the possibility of nathaniel not running last week and when first snow fairy and then danedream went out this is an opportunity coolmore wont be able to miss, and great news for those of us without RUK or ATR, RUK are now showing it for free on freeview and sky.

I personally could see him leaving godolphin now it's barzalona getting all al zarooni rides and it's al zarooni getting all the horses. Theyd be wise to snap him up, IMO he's far superior to job.

yes but 1 is a 19yo kid and 1 is in his 40s you would expect with all the experience and big race wins that Frankie would be regarded as better
I think joeys days are soon numbered he will have to make a decision weather to go jumps racing or become assistant to his father
would like to see him try jumps he could end up being the next McCoy or Walsh

Post Re: PRIX DE L'ARC DE TRIOMPHE
I think JOB is overrated, most jockeys have to learn the ropes the hard way by working their way up through the ranks but he has just been handed it all on a plate- there will be plenty of top class jockeys better than him out there but who may never get the big break- of course job will appear better if hes on the best horse in the race. Would you say Sam waley Cohen was a s good as ap McCoy because when he won the Cheltenham gold cup ap McCoy had only won one as well so does that make them as good as each other? JOB won't be nearly as successful as either ap or ruby as he won't have his father putting him on all the best horses anymore- and just because of who hes ridden on the flat I don't think the jumps trainers would respect him anymore than they would otherwise.

Aidan works for coolmore not the other way round if john magnier did not see somthing special in
joseph do you think he would be riding for them not a chance in a million every jockey makes mistakes
i remeber some royal BEEP ups by frankie in his early years bredders cup 1 was the worst moment in his career in his own words
every jockey makes mistakes i am not sticking up for joseph but considering his age he has not made that many
yes some big ones this year on st nic and camelot but that has happend to every jockey in history humans make mistakes
i disagree i think in time joseph would make a decent NH jockey Aidan actually has a few nh horses this season Brave Hearted by galileo
is ready to make his bumper debut and will be his first nh runner since istabraq days and the lads have a few horses with willie mullins on the verge is 1

Good shout, like pj I thought he was off Coolmore's radar but I think his style will suit the horse down to the ground.

For the big days he is the best- I don't think anyone can ride a finish better than him when he wants to and I think he will ride him further forward than JOB did.

Post Re: PRIX DE L'ARC DE TRIOMPHE
going by frankies interview on RUK i got word b4 him
he reckons he only got asked today

i like frankie as a jockey he was masterfull on authorised and hes a super guy which has nothing to do with jockey skills i know
but had to say it dont think Coolmore could have booked anyone better and have to say what a rough deal he is getting
from Godolphin Guess past glory means very little certainly not loyalty
hope Coolmore consider him for the job when Joey has to step down

Camelot now clear fav on Betfair at 4.2.

As much as I am not a fan of Camelot or the whole Ballydoyle operation, Camelot has got to win this average Arc, it should be a class above this lot. Dettori booking only makes it all the more positive and think Camelot will be 2/1 over here by the off.
