Taking the easier option again. But their version is he's a group one winner over the three main distances.

Nothing decided yet should goto Arc IMO

Gutted Kingman has been retired, I was really looking forward to seeing him on champions day.

I'm a big fan of Australia but Kingman's form was the best 3yo form on offer, just look at the quality milers he beat. It's a shame we won't get to see a rematch at Ascot.

Tweeted the very same thing last night he is the best 3yo on form with who he has beat
I think he had plenty enough speed to win a 6f g1 breeders will love him

I bet Mullins is like a kid in an sweet shop with those horses at the moment. I'm expecting another huge season from him and there more than likely be new stars that we've not even seen on the track yet.

Post Re: DAILY DISCUSSION
Reading back I have to say a couple of things- firstly anyone who says Harbinger was not a seriously good horse is just wrong- you can try and twist it anyway you like but a horse doesn't win such a high class race in that manner by chance. Secondly- the Derby form isn't too great, before the race I was of the opinion that it wasn't a great race, and so it has proved. Kingston Hill is a decent horse, and certainly a good one for the arc if it comes up soft, but how good he is on good over shorter than 1m6f is debatable, he may also have improved since Epsom. Also what Australia has actually done isn't hugely remarkable- when you look back at the recent Derby winners many have similar records- Authorized was one who won the Juddmonte International, I doubt you'd call him one of the greats of the last 10 years, Workforce won an Arc, certainly a better race than the International. New Approach won convincingly both the irish and english champion, and we all know what Sea the Stars did. I think Australia is an average Derby winner at best on current form, he doesn't exude the superstar quality feel you got with horses such as Sea The Stars that we expected after O briens comments. He's a good horse but not a great one. I also personally think you can't call a horse a true great until it's proven itself at 4 but that's another argument.

He is no superstar IMO But to say hes an average derby winner well he ain't that either how many derby winners fail to win a g1 again
after winning the derby plenty of them plenty have failed to even win again for me his Guineas performance was his best so far
He should have never lost last time i don't care what anyone says but that's racing thats life I do agree with part of what you have said
he has not done enough IMO to be regarded as AOB's Best im disappointed hes not going to the Arc its going to be
ideal conditions on sunday just feel Ascot might be the chicken route but they are terrified of him getting turned over again and
business is business thats the vibes i am getting. Maybe they know Chiquita will soup up

Well it will be interesting to see how she runs. I will be waiting for the going forecast before considering any of the trials day form though- Ruler of the World ran well but the ground could be much softer, though he does have good form on soft. That said the weather forecast is probably already out. Just a Way won't stay, so at the moment I'd be looking at either Tagroodah or Kingston hill if it came up soft.

Not sure Ruler is good enough to win an arc same tactics as last day he could get swallowed up

I wouldn't be putting Ruler Of The World out of the reckoning at the weekend lads, i was impressed with how he went about things the last day, he'll be sweet at as nut on sunday. Frankie gave him a great ride and he'll be a man with a point to prove.. he's very dangerous in this mode. I got some 20/1 after the Prix Foy and i think 14's is still a big price. He wasn't the same horse after epsom last year, i was at the curragh for the irish derby and had a few quid with me to put on him, when i saw him in the paddock it put me right off, he was skin and bones.. and never should have run imo. He looked back in shape the last day. Rule him out at your peril!!

Paul the 2000 Guineas is not the best form of this season. Kingman was not the horse he has been since. Whether it was the track, two groups wide apart or that he has improved a lot since that run who knows. But again if you ran the 2000 Guineas field at Ascot for the QEII Kingman would win by 5. Australia wouldn't get him worried at any point.

The Derby form is average. There are no superstars in that field. Camelot all over again
