Post Re: AUSTRALIAN DISCUSSION
After reading some of these posts i kind of agree with Ubar and i never thought id say that. Aidan O Brien gets so many quality horses every year more so than any other trainer and so cannot fail to be successful. If he doesnt win with one he will with another. I dont agree with how he uses his horses and where he places them. He ruined St Nick, SYT, Galileo and ran a Guineas winner so many times as a 2yo in Homecoming Queen. He thinks Camelot is the best horse he has ever trained which i find laughable. I thought it might of been Rock of Gibraltar, Yeats for all that they achieved or the very tough and consistent Giants Causeway. He cast aside Imperial Monarch last year and ignored him it seemed to me. Montjeu would be the best horse Coolmore have had no doubt but why havnt they had more like him with the number of horses they breed and purchase each year?

Again, probably injured judging by the strange vague reason given. Doesn't do any favours for the helsinge family as both have been seemingly unsound.

Nechita is very promising, untapped sprinter.

Almost certain that was her most recent start 8 months ago now winning a 3yo Group 1 sprint, beating Shamexpress who went okay in the Kings Stand.

Sea Siren is a bit older and her best days are probably behind her now.

update on Nechita from my Cousin
she has proven to be very injury prone so not sure if she will run this season
she may go straight to stud i think the plan is to go to Galileo

on another note Aidan O'Brien has three entries in the Melbourne Cup Ernest Hemingway, Foundry and Leading Light.
lets hope he sends one and pray they don't end up being a pacemaker for the rest as in 2008
when septimus alessandro Volta & Honolulu thought they were in a 7 furlong race

Expect to see a downturn in the form of Australian horses on the world stage in the next few years.

Well done on Streama winning the 2000m doomben cup.

A very good horse who been under the radar most of the time.

Great racing to start the Queensland Winter Racing Carnival.

For the Non Aussies, The two Racetracks in Brisbane are side by side seperated by a road. Interesting hey
