I like Battle of Marengo but just cant have him at evens given the fact he faded close home and this will be a very stiff test. Also Derby horses record in this is very poor. He will probably hack up now

As i said above had my doubts about Battle of Marengo, Lay of the day for me, he Just doesn't seem to finish his races off. Drop back to 1 mile 2 would be my choice now as he shows plenty of speed.
