Last night is the first time I done some trialling and it looked great with 30 horses spread across Newmarket, it looked so realistic. If we do get a league I think it will be outstanding with the graphics.

Looks amazing Agree but we desperately need a filter in CK too many horses in CK as it is and turning into a nightmare to manage

Re: New Beginnings
This was in the last batch of horses I bred. I didn't think u could breed a full middle distance 3yo but I was surprised when this one turned up, i'll admit my( fists were pumping) . I love my 2 families, the Dubla's and the Clowns.

Re: New Beginnings
First Triple Crown in the books. The daughter of my Belmont winner seals the deal by winning the Belmont in a canter. Very reminiscent of Zenyatta in the way she runs. Her sire was a thorn in my side when he was running against my top horse back in his day. Oh yeah - she's also undefeated.

Re: New Beginnings
The greatest horse I have ever trained. By my magnificent foundation sire, she has just been dominating in almost every start, winning most by 4 lengths (although that Personal Ensign near gave me a heart attack down the stretch, back and forth and back and forth). She is a closer who goes from last to first to take the lead early in the stretch and then just pulls away. She is a two time Breeders Cup Distaff winner and three time BC winner overall (won Juvenile Filles). 2 time Beldame winner, Kentucky Oaks winner, Godolphin Mile winner, and so many more! Her one loss came in her second race cause I made the mistake of racing her at 5f at Ascot instead of her usual 6f (as a 2yo) cause I didn't think she was my best 2yo (had a few better than her at the time, but they all dropped off as 3yos) and I sent my best 2yos towards all the 6f races. I'm sure she would be undefeated if she went for a 6f Ascot race instead. Was going to retire her after this year but decided to let her race one more season as my other amazing horse, two time Dubai World Cup winner and an amazing horse (albeit a little bit more inconsistent), is going to stud so I will wait one year so then I have a 2yo lined up to take her place the year later while she gets to breeding.

Re: New Beginnings
starting to get a few nice ones coming in now breeding at least 95% bars now on potential, one thing I've noticed though that since the restart the times compared to my other horses who weren't as good ability bar wise are slower? also I noticed atiggerx33 who seem to be racing your horses a lot I tend to run them only 5/6 times a year does it matter if you race them more?

Re: New Beginnings
Quote: The reason I race my two year olds so much is that I am trying to get on the 2 year old leader board again for highest rating, and you need a lot of races to get such a high number (I think the record right now is 133, which is INSANE). Skip the cheap races and debut your horse in a feature race. That's how they get the astronomical ratings. I like the cheap races. If you can put up a 110+ in a maiden race in January-February that is something special.

From what I've seen, I don't think so. They tend to top out in potential after 4 races or so, which is why I believe most people race 4-6 times per season. Comparing my horses that I race only 4 times, to the ones I race 10 times I don't see any detriment to the horses that ran more but no bonus either. The only time you will see detriment is if you over race the horse, which will recover next year, but you'll ruin it's nice win record. It's a fine line from how much I race to over racing, one more race and they might have given out for the remainder of the season, then again they might have been able to run 5 more. I honestly don't know if they get burnt out due to over racing as youngsters, I always check their condition pre-race and if they look like they could use more time off I just withdraw them. The reason I race my two year olds so much is that I am trying to get on the 2 year old leader board again for highest rating, and you need a lot of races to get such a high number (I think the record right now is 133, which is INSANE). 1) Pastashio......................134..................PJR The key is to make debut in a G1 if possible once you have a rating of 120 on debut you just keep chipping away & It will keep going up

Re: New Beginnings
My Windows laptop is out of action atm, so no playing SO6 for me! Have the times been fixed yet? As i find this ratings system quite flawed. I would much rather start a horse off in a maiden like most do irl, and record good times. This to me is the judgement of a good horse!
