Purchased s04 a few days ago and just wondering if anybody had any advice or tips on how to get that all important first decent horse.

I did play s03 and used the guide times that someone had posted for horses in sellers/claimers but have read that this is no longer effective.

I also read that horses at the auction in the first year with a rating of over 100 is good but i havent seen any yet (they are usually late 80's at the most). Have tried a few anyway and although they look quite good none of them seem to get good feedback from the jockeys. I dont want to cheat but would like to get a half decent game going soon as keen to try the league this year also.
