My best in the Lockinge was 1:33.69 on firm, he is also good in the CK
Its a pity you weren't able to breed from him, how did the gelding perform in the CK?
Have you noticed a lot of track records being set in the early season stand for a long time! or is that just my game.

No it's the same in mine too. I've had the Derby/Oaks winners for the last 5 years and they've come within 0.1 of a second but still haven't beaten the 2010 (first year I think) winner's time! I thought my horses were just not as good as they should be but maybe not!

Yesterday had a horse win the Derby in 2:25.83 on firm unfortunately he is a couple of seconds slower in the CK
Today one season on the Epsom course record has been broken again in the Derby 2:25.28 on hard, I just hope this one is good in the CK

Mole Board who set a course record of 2:25.28 in the Derby at Epsom has ran well in the CK and could be my Derby horse this season, His Sire Thunder Gulch was top class at 10f and the mare Lilly Fa Pootz was a outstanding dual Oaks winners. The 12F at Epsom is perfect for him where as the 12f at the Curragh just stretches his stamina.

I've had plenty of horse run great game times but run slower times in the CK, game times mean nothing it how they perform in the CK and I'm sure you have a few nice league horses mate.
