I would assume only the offending trainer would be tossed out of the league! Bit harsh to throw out someone who did nothing wrong. And if the horses are posted here for download then I would say the original trainer couldn't be held accountable because they weren't secretly trading horses behind everyone's backs. I can understand both trainers being thrown out if a trading ring was discovered, ie, two or more people trading horses privately back and forth. If it's done publicly like this, there can be no accusing the original owner of anything untoward, surely.

Wrong, all parties would be removed from league. As l said at the very start of this post horse sharing is not advised at any level as in 4 months you will have no idea if there is someone elses horse in your lines and mark's software will find if it is and all parties would be removed from league. This sharing horses in my opinion is not worth it in the long run as even a accident could mess everythin up.

How on earth can what I said be wrong? Is it a machine that decides who gets kicked out? If it's a person then surely they can use their eyes and their brain to figure out who is at fault when dealing with public sharing. I would like to hear from a league official about this. Are you assuming, or have you directly asked someone who would know for sure?

That seems a bit too harsh, kick out the offending player but not the person that
supplies the horses.

I actually thought about joining the online league for the first time, but now better not so as to prevent myself from getting kicked out of the league.

The person that provides the file would not be banned from the league. Only the person that used those horses, bred from another game, would be removed for a season.

What you are doing is fine (Mark has built the feature into the game after all), but for a league stable I would start a new game. Do not transfer horses into the game from another for the avoidance of all doubt. Clearly, there will be no excuses accepted.
