Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
I am having a problem, i manually edited my schedule and didnt like it so i uninstalled the game, i then downloaded it again and went to put my saves back in the folder only to find that they were already there :/ i didnt expect this but anyway not a major problem, so i went in to play again and my old saves files seem to be ok but when i tried to go into the pjr game to transfer the horses and it says something like 'game sync error continuing may cause game to crash' the button to advance to the end of the year is on there, only the button to exit. This is a major pain in my ass because ive spent all day trying to set up a really proper game and then this happens I'd appreciate any help

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
Could anyone give me a quick guide to transferring horses?
ie Can I only transfer horses that are retired to stud already or can you transfer horses that are still racing?
And when you transfer them, do you lose them from the original game?
Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance You can transfer race horses to stud immediately, or to game pool at end of season. You can 'retire' race horses and stud horses at end of season. Do you lose horses transferred to game pool? YES! START NEW GAME and bring them back into the new game. ARAPHO

Thanks in advance You can't transfer horses retired to stud, only currently racing horses. Select 'retire to game pool' finish your season and your horses will leave your game and be in the transfer pool to either transfer back or transfer into another game. i.e. I am starting a jumps game but find it really boring trying to work up to the top with jumps horses so I transfer some of my flat horses with 'good' jumping ability. I have 10 in the transfer pool which have left the current game and I have transferred into my new NH game. They can now race over jumps. If you want to transfer them back then press 'retire to game pool' again, finish your season and transfer them into the game you want. The horse will always be a year older every time you transfer which is a bit annoying because I accidentally transferred my 3yo Oaks hopeful into my NH game. I meant to race her on the flat then try her over jumps at 4. But alas I will try her over jumps at 3 and 4, on the flat again at 4/5, then back to the jumps at 5 and 6, then probably the breeding barn will await.

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum but have been playing Starters Orders since the beginning. I thought I'd try out some of these fantastic horses to mix some good blood into my barn.
I followed Sabella's directions and successfully imported some of the horses, but for some reason when trying to import the rest of them, I get a "General Import Error".
These are the ones I couldn't import to my game: South Dakotta Ernest Hemingway Dance the Night Away Blast From The Past Aferd ll Celtic Jewel ll Rising Talent ll H L Shihoin
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
You can only transfer 6 horses per season into a game save, so I started a couple of games to transfer horses into but you have to wait till end of season to transfer them into another save game. Hope that makes sense.

Aha, that makes perfect sense. I'll just have to be patient then.
