 Re: Post Up Your Best!
Boys it's not all about the Bars, there more to it than that. I always show these two from SO5 because Dublin Flyer had outstanding Bars compered to Greenbank Park but Greenbank was a champ and Dublin was disappointing in the League.

I Have never had anything with battling qualities i could never find a gamebred with high BQ that had a high enough potential bar i did just fine without BQ in my horses i really dont think it means much at all and certainly not worth a huge backward step just to get it On another note my best hurdler ever has just retired to stud unbeaten she declined drastically as soon as she hit 9 But had an amazing career

Greenbank Park was a long distance stayer and was going to run in one of the National's in the mid eighties but ended up not running in it and as a kid I had this racing game( made up with some board game) and I always had him in my game and when I joined the league I had to make sure he was good. I love front runners in real life like Run and Skip - Twin Oaks- Dublin Flyer- Desert Orchid- Denman and that's why I've tried to breed front runners in my Game. I'm hoping there's going to be another but it seem's like years ago even though it's just a year. How is u jump breeding going, I think us Welsh like's the Jump's.

Not good that's why I don't have anything in the thread the games I played have been bad its either me or the jumps in so6 seems harder to get your horses to perform I got a good flat game going now just starting to get some decent horses I have only played 10 seasons on my current jump game need to start to play properly once I have Prepped the jumps I will. I understand that Bars aren't everything, but I feel that the time spent on developing a decent line was worth the step back. I have horses with 90%+ in both, but they don't perform on the same level. From now on the steps back to further improve the BQ's will become smaller each time. I estimate I should have both at 90%+ in what would be an elite horse for me before the end of the week. Is that horse going to be competitive with some of the horses you guys churn out? I really doubt it..

 Re: Post Up Your Best!
The League seems a long way off id be surprised if we get one in 2015 hope i am wrong i actually really miss the competition & craic, my flat team has been ready for months i have been concentrating on jumps for 3 months or so now i am actually looking forward to crossing my Flat best with My Jumps best to see if that bring the flat team further improvement they are all totally unrelated.
Just enjoyed playing the game have not ploughed through 10000s of seasons i have actually watched races and enjoyed immersing myself into the season,
I Go distance by distance and save my best. then onto the next distance. Managing the CK with horses at different distances i find impossible.
Currently working on my bumper horses.

Currently working on my bumper horses. I have never taken part in a league so I really hope that there will be one. Only able to wait I guess.. Any chance we could get an export file with one of your 1 mile horses? Same with Derby horses really.. I would like to figure out how far away I am. Just as a CK Benchmark it would be really nice. If it is just the export it shouldn't give away stat's etc. either. I understand that this might give away your competitive advantage by showing your hand.. so it doesnt have to be the best horse either.. just being able to figure out how much work I have left. If I am multiple seconds away etc..

 Re: Post Up Your Best!
Thing is when you export them as 3yo they come into the game as 4yo which is not much help when you want to trial Derby Or Guineas horses i have always made my best horses available to others have no problem with it and have already done it in SO6 I will have a look and see if i have any 2yo from the same crop (Breeding Lines) but did not export many Juveniles at the time. at the time i only bred and exported 3YO i did not even train them as juveniles or older horses and trialing against my best 3yo as 4yo would not be great either they were bred to shine at 3yo have no idea if they would be any good at 4 or 5. i doubt they would produce what they produce at 3yo. its a shame that that part of the game has been taken away been able to send your horse files so others could trial against them but Mark felt that the horse files not been in the possession of the player would avoid any cheating.

That would be great. As I am a rookie I would love to see a couple benchmarks. Would make some horses available too if somebody would want. Do we have a thread for that purpose? I understand that Mark would be able to see a horses lineage to avoid bad situations for an eventual league? Here is my best Guineas horse. Still long ways from true greatness..
