Skipped a lot of days but couldn't find a minor feature at 7fur. I've settled on a top level 115 handicap. Let's see if he can get 7fur.

Thanks westy. Every now and then I like to play a simple one horse game and make something of it. Playing for the league causes one to sometimes forget the simple joy of starting from scratch. The challenge of training a difficult half talented horse.

Also I hope to turn on people who may be contemplating buying the game. It's a cool sim.

Clearly he's not a 7fur horse. My only hope to recoup my 110k investment is to get a minor stakes placing at 6fur and sell him to some sucker at auction. Or keep cashing minor checks for the next 10 years :?

Ah this will work. A cheap Grade 2 at the perfect conditions. A win here will put a big dent in the debt he's created.

Thanks frankel. On your stable screen click the blue circle in the gallop column for the horse you want. That brings up that horses info at the bottom of the screen. You'll see "jumping, agility, starting" and the level for each. There are four levels - Very Poor, Poor, Average and Good. To change the special training emphasis click the rectangular box between the training and gallops column.

I've never played simple training so maybe it's different?

That's it I've had it with this one. I'm getting tired. I'll drop him into a seller, bet all my money and then collect the winnings and the auction payment. Then search for something better.

That's it for the Wolf Man. Average and consistent. Sold for 65k. I lost about 40k on that. Made a bunch betting on his seller win so I made a profit. Usually I pick better horses than him. It was an interesting challenge. Thanks for watching and expect me to pick it up again on another day with hopefully a better choice.
