It's quite clear that you are frustrated, and I was just trying to offer help to a friend.
You've often said, that you've respect opinions, and so forth. What I said is nothing more than an opinion and not intended to get you all fired up.
So, calm down bud..
However, if you prefer, I will let you be and not comment on your posts, if you feel that I'm behaving like a child towards you in my answers.

Nah, nothing exotic in the chemicals, just plain old Noradrenalin and Dopamine. Keeps you feeling chilled and happy!! Can't get enough of them.

I don't take anything, honestly. Just continuing the running joke from a few posts back, about me smoking something special.
Noradrenaline and Dopamine are actually the brains natural chemicals when you feel happy and relaxed. Serotonin is the third "happy" chemical in your brain and nervous system.
I'm with you mate as far as drugs go. Each to their own, no judgement, everyone should know the risks before taking them. I don't do drugs, never will, and would never promote the use off.
Far too many people of all ages, have their heads screwed up on all that junk, and it's far easier to buy now. Many of them struggle to add two and two. I've had many older students come to me for lessons, who admitedly took drugs over 10 years previous. They have been off them for that long, but their brains never recover. I don't know what it's like in other countries, but I'm not convinced the Irish schools do enough to inform kids of the dangers.

I don't want to get into the 'argument' or 'banter' or whatever it is but I am rather intrigued by your last post Colm. What do you do?
In addition I would like to make a minor scientific correction, noradrenaline is actually not a neurotransmitter like serotonin or dopamine which brings feeling of pleasure when released. Noradrenaline is a hormone/neurotransmitter that is involved in the flight and flight response. It brings about 'alertness' and 'arousal' in preparation for the above and has some influences on the reward centre although in conjunction with the above mentioned.
I'm sure someone will swear at me for saying this but, yes I am pedantic, I think Science is very important!

I must say that it's bad all around the world when it comes to drugs and kids, the sad part is I must say, thank god me and the mrs never had kidies to worry about at our age, but tell me something colm, is it the way I use me "coma's in a sentence that makes you think that I am having a go or something, if it is mate, I am sorry but that's the way I was taught to write as the english language is my second language, but a good lesson well taught with these hormones your talking about thats for sure.

Drugs nearly killed me 11 years ago when a drugged up driver hit me. I had a major brain injury, it took me 2 years to know how to spell my name.
This game has been great for me because i have to think to name my 2yos.

It's not up to me JC to correct anyone's grammar, whether it be first language or not. It wouldn't be appropriate. With the absence of facial expressions to confirm or correct what the person it actually trying to say, you have to read the words more carefully to try and determine that.
When I read those two posts today, you seemed really pissed off. Once at the game, and once at me.
SC - I own and run two businesses, and fly aircraft in my spare time. Understanding "Human Performance and Factors" is essential to getting a pilots licence, so you could understand and see the on-set of Hypoxia, for example, before it getting too far and actually suffering from it. We would have done alot about Brain chemicals, muscular performance under stress, etc, but obviously not to the depth that a Biological Scientist or Doctor would need to know them.
Great post Lochsong. Glad you are on the mend, and keep on going.
