Just placed my Ante Post big bet today (Big for me anyway) Kauto Star, Dunguib, Big Bucks and Master minded. 25 quid Dunguib 10 double dunguib and Kauto 10 treble Kauto Dunguib Big Bucks and 10 4 fold. Also captain Cee Bee, Garde Champetre, Mille Chief and Barber Shop pretty much the same but half stake as much better prices.

i like the sound of the dunguib big bucks master minded etc.

yeah the previous post is spot on about millie chief.

Captain Cee Bee i like, i backed him for 20quid each way when he won the supreme novice but im not convinced about his jumping so i might leave him alone.
Go native is one im thinking about backing, classy classy hurdler

To be honest im feeling exactly the same and 4/5 still today is just very confusing to me. If this was nicholl's or Meade would be a certain 1/3 at least

dunguib is a superstar now and for the next few years withoubt doubt!!

the comment about him being 4/5 (amazing price!!!) but how he would be if it was a nicholls or mullins or meade horse i dont really agree with completley.

i think in this case it may be more to do with the jockey on board being so inexperienced in comparison to the likes of mccoy and ruby and choc thornton etc. I dont think its too big a matter however, he knows dunguib and will win easily on him again.

has anyone else noticed his prize drop to 4to1 for the champion hurdle??weird

Just got this so thought l would post it, has made my feel even more confident now

Dunguib is reported to be "absolutely bouncing" ahead of his date with destiny in the Spinal Research Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Philip Fenton has categorically ruled out an attempt at the Champion Hurdle this year and issued a warning to his rivals that he believes Dunguib was below his best when winning the Deloitte Novice Hurdle on the bridle.

Fenton said: "For some reason - of course we were satisfied that he won - we just felt he wasn't as good as he could have been but he certainly is at the moment, he's absolutely bouncing. We don't think he was at his best at Leopardstown, he was a little bit flatter than he normally would be but at the moment he is a livewire."

The trainer continued: "His jumping could have been an awful lot better at Leopardstown. We have schooled him since, not intensive or anything, and thankfully we are very happy with him.

"If his jumping had been slicker at Leopardstown we might have considered the Champion Hurdle, but on the jumping part of his performance we decided to stick to the novice route.

"I wouldn't call this an ordinary Champion Hurdle, there's an awful lot of good horses there so that is why we are sticking to the novice route. The Supreme Novices' Hurdle is where we are going and we have got tunnel vision for that, that's his race.

"We are of the opinion that he was kind of dossing through his last race, he was so switched off and some people may say why didn't Brian (O'Connell) set him alight at one or two of his hurdles.

"Brian's number one job that day was to get him settled and relaxed, he did that part of it."
