There will still be a schedule editor in the game, so you can still customise your schedule, using the default schedule as a base, removing races you don't want or adding extra races, provided they're included in the showcases files. I won't be updating the Irish files though (or at least I'll only be updating the Irish races that are to be included in the UK schedules).

Sounds like the new default schedules will be more realistic than ever, thanks for all your hard work on this Panther.

Talking about festivals, will the festivals in SO5 be more realistic, like in real life festivals are 4day festivals(i think there 4days anyway can't mind).

Yes, they will be very realistic. For example, Royal Ascot includes all 30 races, over 5 days, with the correct races in the correct order of running on each day, complete with correct prize money and conditions (right down to fine detail, such as the fact that the Tercentenary Stakes is not open to horses that have previously won a G1 or G2).

The Cheltenham (all 27 races) and Aintree (all 21 races) festivals will also see full running orders in the UK schedules, and other major festivals will also be included, but only with the major races as feature races (for example, 4 or 5 feature races per day at Glorious Goodwood and York's Ebor meeting etc). It really depends on how many races at each festival would be considered a "feature" race.

Any update on the Australian side of the game yet?

I'm not sure about this, as I've not had any input in the Australian side of the game; I've only been updating the UK showcases and schedule files.

Thanks for your input Panther. Every little extra bit of detail that makes it more realistic improves the game massively therefore I dislike the shouting idea mentioned earlier in the post.

Do you have the german races in?

Baden-Baden will still be the only German racecourse in SO5. However, for anyone that wants to add extra German races into their schedules, I have included all the German G1s and one or two G2s (all run at Baden-Baden in the game, obviously) to the German showcases file. The default schedule will still only include the Grosser Preis von Baden.
