Interesting to see that your breeding focus seems to be a bit different from mine. Your focus being more on potential. My horses are hold up as well. Obviously CK results differ from run to run but the following seems to be a decent average.

Funny enough I've got a horse called Dam Buster who went 4-4 in the qualifiers then went 5-5 in my 2m4 finals but mighty be the best of a very bad bunch, he stays longer than the mother law. I ran yours on even pace. At Newmarket Derringer seems to be on average 1.5 L behind Bob Diamond. Placing between 4 and 9 among 20+ runners.
