Quite possibly a silly question but where do I find this ttf file that people keep telling me I need to make a copy of. Also does this copy the horses in the export list or the transfer pool, or both.

Keep backing it up at the end of every season Martin and you never loose a horse
once you have transferred in the horse you loose them for good but copy and paste the
copied ttf and paste the copied TTF back into the saves folder and the horses will re appear on the list

Cheers Paul. So the ttf are the transfer horses then. What about the export horses where are they and do I need to back them up as well. Also once you have exported your horse how do you get to access its details like stat bars so you can compare them.

These dont need backing up Martin but i always do

no they are horse files and can not be opened simply used to upload to tom

Just be careful backing up the ttf and replacing it if you do things the wrong way round which i have done so many times
you loose them but luckly i only use the ttf for 100 horses then start a new ttf file and that is double backed up

the horse files are in Documents/so6/exports/horses

Cheers mate, couldn't figure why nothing was showing up. Didn't realise you had to press blue button, thought it was automatic.

once you have found out your best horse at a certain distance then you press the blue
button that creates a horse file for you to upload to Tom

Go to my documents find the starters orders 6 folder then the sub folders saves. Here you will find the tff file which is your pooled transfer horses and another file with your email address in the file name, which is your exports. There are two of the later one of which is the back up this is prefixed bk if I recall correctly.
