Download Start It Here: http://www.startersorders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=9290So introducing the Start It Challenge (well not really introducing, more like moving from the mod page cause I was running out of room to type...). It is a mainly US challenge (with a few foreign races) for different runners. And if your horse completes a really good challenge that isn't here, post a picture and I will add it. Just show photographic proof of your horse winning all the races in the challenge to be declared a winner. Re: Start It Challenge
Wow atigger!! Great job!! I don't know what is more impressive, the amount of times you've won challenges or that you are already in 2041!! Never been past year 18 in SO5, then again I had 50-70 horses for most of those years along with a huge breeding operation.

 Re: Start It Challenge
Wow atigger!! You are just dominating at the 10-12f range. I've never been that good at long, always been a mile trainer. So once I finish all of these courses and have a chance to get my breeding game up and running, be warned, the Mile Challenge will be mine haha!

 Re: Start It Challenge
Wow! Nice job atiggerx! That is one impressive 3YO! What is this, like your 22nd Triple Crown hahahahaha!!!! And I'm not sure what path I like better of your 3YOs, the Belmont Stakes/Derby Double or the Belmont Stakes/LosAl Derby Double hahah (love love love LosAl! One of my favorite tracks and wishing we could have some quarter horse racing there in game). Very nice training and breeding!

 Re: Start It Challenge
I know the feeling. I had a horse in SO5 that was at best a handicap horse for her first 2 years. Then, as a four year old I decided to try her luck in an early stakes race since I liked the pace that could shape up (entered one of my front runners in the race who just sets blazing figures early but fades after 8.5 furlongs). So I put her in the race and she just completely missed the break and was off field by 5+ lengths. Then, down the stretch I see a horse in light blue silks (my silks) just rocket from last to first and won by an easy two lengths after two years of just barely being able to hit the board. So then I entered her and the pacemaker in a 10 furlong stakes and she won again! So I decided to ship her and the pacemaker to the Dubai World Cup (the pacemaker won this race 2 years prior and I already had 3 wins in the race in only 7 years) and once again she won. This was the first of three straight Dubai World Cups for her. She would go on to have a great career at 10 furlongs, but never could capture the Breeders Cup Classic (always finished in 2nd or 3rd... usually to another of my horses haha). Probably my 3rd best horse I've ever trained. Your Star (the name of the horse) was such a great mare, and even better in breeding. I actually bred her to the pacemaker (Bring Me to Life) to give me an amazing colt, Bring Me a Star, another World Cup winner, along with a BC Classic, a Derby, and an Arlington Million win, along with others. That was such a great SO5 game. Kinda miss my SO5 barn. So dominating.

 Re: Start It Challenge
Wow! Very impressive! The race I'm most interested of his isn't one of his 44 wins but rather his 1 loss. What happened there, and a better question, how did the horse that beat him do after?

 Re: Start It Challenge
mjtags11,
Did you remove the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe from your schedule? I downloaded your mod a week or so ago and I just had a horse that had a good season and was thinking about creating ... something like this. A goal for top horses to try to win a string of races.
I just had a horse win Dubai Sheema, Brooklyn, Sword Dancer, Joe Hirsch, Breeders Cup Turf and the japan Cup. But the atigger challenge includes the French race as well.

 Re: Start It Challenge
It shouldn't be removed. One problem that could arise is that Gray's UK schedule could have the Arc as a different name. If so, just copy his Arc weekend from his UK schedule into my US schedule. That would fix it. I usually don't send any other country showcase files (unless I mod them that specific update) with the updates, since I assume that the original showcase files (from the first Start It update) are used. Sorry for the inconvenience.

 Re: Start It Challenge
Actually, its the opposite way around... It is because I use Gray's schedule and I updated mine to include his Arc weekend but forgot to change it back for Start It (I barely ever play the game so I forget what I have). Sorry bout that.

 Re: Start It Challenge
No worries.
Actually made me think of the challenge I want to reach.
1. One of the G1 Kentucky Derby prep races (Wood, Santa Anita etc) 2-4. Kentucky Derby / Preakness / Belmont Stakes 5-8. Singspiel / Breeders Satkes / Northern Dancer / Canadian Invitational (Woodbine races) 9. Hong Kong Vase then as 4 yo 10. Dubai Sheema Classic 11. Brooklyn Stakes. 12. Sword Dancer 13. Joe Hirsch 14. Breeders Cup Turf 15. Japan Cup.
I had 1 horse get 10 of 15 and another get 12/15.

 Re: Start It Challenge
One for the 3yo Challenge. What makes this most remarkable is that Princess Grace is a genuine 1-4 horse. Some of the wins were by the slimmest of margins (Breeders Cup Classic was won by the width of a nosehair) but when I turn her loose, she's a monster at her own distance - Belmont was won by 8 1/2 lengths and going away. https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipO ... nYZ2ZXLV4ANext challenge will be the Atiggerx33 races, and they may well be better suited to the horse.
