Hi everyone, a newbie here......how do the auctions work? I have no idea how you actually purchase the horses. Seems i can only follow them. Any help much appreciated. Thansk

the main auctions are every thursday at the end of the days racing, also you can bid on the winner anytime after a seller or claiming race, you cant just go to any horse and purchase unfortunately

The follow option is useful as it tells you when they run or if they are to be auctioned. The auction process is two distinct methods, there are the end of year sales, and the mid week sales, the later requires you to go to the races on the day, indicated by a little hammer top right of your main screen next to the cycle day buttons. Once in the auction itself, click the horse you want and press the start auction you may then participate in bidding.

Don't expect to many miracles, if they were any good there not likely to be sold

Also......ive bred twice now but have no yearlings.... only have 1 horse in my stable, so plenty of room! Also a season has passed by and they still arent showing in the yearling list.

They wont appear until 2YO Flat when you go into Breed you should see Unnamed horses in a box
