Post Location of Game Pool
Hi All,
I got my new laptop at the weekend (under orders from the wife due to lack of space for my pc).
I copied all of my folders onto an external hard drive and managed to upload them onto the new laptop (being a technophobe I was very proud of myself). All of my games have survived and so has my export file but I have no pool horses to transfer. I can only imagine I have put this into the wrong folder.
Can someone please tell me name of the game pool folder/save and the correct location for it?
Many thanks in advance,
Darren

Is that the ttf file. If so mine is in the 'saves' folder

It probably is Martin, but that's the problem with being an old technophobe I am not sure.
I still haven't mothballed the pc, got till the weekend, so I can still rescue the data.

Just checked mine and if its the file where you transfer horses from one game to another then its the ttf and its in the main saves folder. Hope you can find it ok

Darren if you save the Entire Starters Orders 6 Folder in your Documents it would save everything including what's in the Save Folder you didn't need to save different folders and if you just saved the Starters Orders 6 (x86) Programs Folder this will not have your ttf.file that's in your Documents Starters Orders 6 Folder where all your exports are in the saves Folder.

Still no joy unfortunately. The ttf file is in an identical location, is showing all the same properties (dat file, 230kb, notebook etc.) but my transfer pool is still showing as empty. All the saves are accessible and the exports are intact.
Has anyone got any other suggestions please.
EDIT: Could going from windows 7 to 10 be creating a problem?

Still having no joy and have encountered another rather strange issue.
I saved one of my games on the penultimate day. I then transferred several horses to the game pool and skipped to the new season. I checked the transfer pool and they were all there so I exited the game without saving.
I reloaded the game on the penultimate day skipped to the next season and the transfer pool is empty! I have done this lots of times as no doubt have many others, certainly all league trainers.
Maybe I need to contact Mark unless anyone else has come across it and knows a solution.

I think there is another thread somewhere where the transfers weren't working for people. Might be worth scrolling down to see if you can find it. I will have a quick look and see if I can find it

UPDATE: Looks like a few people are having the same problem (a couple of threads lower down the page) but no one seems to have solved it yet. Sorry
