The combined game in either the U.K. or Ireland is simply a way you can access both a flat and jumps, though they have different season end points. The uk game ends on April the 10th and though the jump season ends at a different point for purposes of the game season role over it works from that date. The Irish version does much the same but has the end date role over in December I believe it is the 28th. Horses in either can approach both flat and jump races in the same season, though you tend to really only be able to enter the jumps once there 4yo+.
