Hi all I'm new to starters orders and I'm thoroughly enjoy it. I just want to ask a quick question. When is the best tine to train a horse and how long will it take to show the effects of training. I'm in simple training mode at the moment and when I do a training run it keeps saying that the horse is lacking fitness. How do I improve my horses potential? |

If you're in Simple Training Mode, you don't have to do anything really - just make sure you're entering the horses in appropriate races. Are you doing a lot of gallop runs? They're basically like a race and the horse needs time to recover from them. |

Howdy I leave at least 21 days between races for a horses fitness and condition to recover. You want the red fitness and the green condition bars full to get best performance. Potential increases in the first 4 races of a horses first season. After that it may increase in varying amounts at the start of each new season up to a 5yo. This post covers potential increases.... http://www.startersorders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=6531 |
