Post subject:  Horses have disappeared, please help

Hi guys.

Newb to this game have been playing about a week. Loving it so far. Although it’s a massively steep learning curve I’ve lost so count of the number of games I’ve started. But I’m getting there with the help of this forum and Chris’s your tube walkthrough. The game I’m on Playing as an owner/trainer on about season 15 has done the sell my first horses and got enough to buy the breeding barn and start breeding with a couple of horse to race to keep it interesting. So here I am finally got some decent horse in the barn and my I’m finally getting towards running a profit rather than being in the red for most of the year. So I skipped to the next race a few days forward in June so nothing spectacular and when the bar finished my horses who are old enough to race have disappeared from the the training screen. I can still see them on the declarations screen and my data screen. I can still see the yearlings that came thru in April on the training screen but not my racing horses. I started another game to see if it persisted. I immediately sold my original horses and then bought 2 more at the auction. Same thing has happened, can see them in the decs and data screen can’t see them in the training screen. Please help......

Many thanks Yetti

Eliminate the simple bits first, If your playing a combined game, check the drop down top left of the main screen, it should be on show all recent form, but sometimes it flips to jumps form only and gives the appearance of having vanished your flat horses. Freaked me out first time it happened to me.

Thanks for that. I tried everything I could think of. In the end I grabbed the save files and went a re-install. Seems to have solved it but it appears I grabbed the wrong files lol. Oh well a chance to start again see if I can do it better this time

Thanks again for replying, Yetti

I do not know if this is your problem but i have found the Training screen to be buggy. It often lists completely different horses than the ones i actually own.

Never seen any bugs on the trainer screen and I must have done over a 500 seasons by now.

Same thing happens to me regularly on the training screen when i hover on the info button. Horse in bottom segment of screen is a completely different horse. Different name, bars everything ... and not one of mine or an old horse ... just a random AI horse. I just leave the screen and then go back to it and it is ok. Doesn't seem to have any negative long term effect but it is a bit weird when it happens.
